The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA), participated in the Summit of the Digital Europe which took place in Budapest on April 18 and 19, 2024.
41 business associations from 22 countries participated in the Summit. Our country was represented by the Head of the European Affairs Committee of CITEA, Mr. Kyriakos Kyriakou.
Among the topics discussed during the Session were the AI Act, Cybersecurity, digital skills and the promotion of research and innovation, while at the same time workshops were held and case studies were presented in relation to the RRF funding.
Through the discussions that took place, the attendees had the opportunity to exchange views in relation to the digital progress of the Member States and the ways of dealing with the various digital challenges, while they jointly defined their priorities, which will be presented to the next composition of the European Commission.
