CITEA AT THE FOREFRONT OF THE CYPRUS–INDIA TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIP

The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) is actively participating in the business mission to India organized by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the technology ecosystems of Cyprus and India.

In his address, CITEA President George Malekkos emphasized that Cyprus is not in India to outsource services, but to gain access to Artificial Intelligence (AI) expertise and transfer this know-how to the members of the Cypriot technology ecosystem.

As he noted, CITEA represents more than 100 technology companies in Cyprus, and its objective is to establish strategic partnerships in the fields of AI, software engineering, cloud technologies, and high-tech innovation.

“India possesses tremendous experience and expertise in AI and technology. We are here to build bridges of knowledge and cooperation that will deliver real value to our members and to the Cypriot technology ecosystem,” Mr. Malekkos stated.

CITEA’s participation in the mission confirms the Association’s commitment to strengthening the international outreach of its members and creating new international partnerships focused on AI and innovation.
