CITEA: AT THE FOREFRONT OF GITEX GLOBAL 2025 REPRESENTING CYPRUS AND GREECE

The participation of Cyprus and Greece in the international technology exhibition GITEX Global 2025, held from October 13 to 17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, was successfully completed. The Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA) took center stage at the event, serving as the official representative of both national delegations.

GITEX Global, the largest technology and innovation exhibition in the Middle East, once again attracted thousands of visitors, investors, and industry leaders from around the world. The participation of Cyprus and Greece showcased the continuous growth of both countries’ technology ecosystems, as well as the strategic importance of the Eastern Mediterranean region as an emerging hub for innovation and digital development. At the Cyprus Pavilion, organized by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry (MECI) in collaboration with the Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in Dubai and supported by CITEA, 14 Cypriot technology companies took part. Similarly, at the Greece Pavilion, officially supported by Enterprise Greece and SEPE (Federation of Hellenic ICT Enterprises), five Greek companies participated for the first time.

Both delegations achieved valuable networking opportunities with organizations and companies in the sector, strengthening prospects for new partnerships. CITEA’s role as a coordinating body contributed to the cohesion and visibility of both countries’ presences, further connecting technology businesses with the global market.
