These initiatives could provide a stable framework for exchanging knowledge and views, identifying usual challenges, and developing proposals to address issues affecting the digital sector. <\/p>\n<p>Statement by CITEA President George Malekkos <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn today\u2019s digital age, the role of the Commissioner of Electronic Communications and the Authority is more critical than ever. The challenges posed by cybersecurity and artificial intelligence require meaningful cooperation and immediate, practical action. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat particularly impressed me about today\u2019s meeting was the new Commissioner\u2019s pragmatic approach and positive response to our proposals. We discussed specific ideas, exchanged views, and established that there is a genuine willingness to move forward together. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">\u201cAs CITEA, we are ready to collaborate closely with the Commissioner and his Office through joint workshops, training activities, knowledge-sharing and initiatives that will have a tangible impact on businesses and the Cypriot economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to personally thank the Commissioner, Mr Marios Pieris, for an exceptionally constructive meeting, his open approach, and his pragmatism.
