Particular emphasis was placed on key topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, user digital experience, and fostering a digital culture within organizations. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Roboto; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400;\">The conference was officially opened by the Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Dr. Nikodimos Damianou, who highlighted the importance of technology as a growth driver for the Cypriot economy and society. During the ceremony, the CITEA 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award was posthumously presented to the late Panicos Akritas for his longstanding and impactful contribution to the development of information technology in Cyprus.
